Before founding Slade Bookkeeping, Jo built valuable experience in the small-business sector spanning over 20 years as an Office Manager and in-house Bookkeeper. This hands-on experience gave her a strong understanding of the day-to-day challenges business owners face and the importance of reliable, practical bookkeeping support.

As a Registered BAS Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board, Jo is committed to maintaining high professional standards and continuing her professional development. Clients can feel confident knowing their bookkeeping is managed with care, accuracy and a genuine commitment to quality service.

Jo takes a personal, down-to-earth approach to working with clients. She understands that every business operates differently and enjoys building trusted relationships that make bookkeeping feel simpler, clearer and less overwhelming.

Outside the office

Outside of work, Jo enjoys spending time with her husband Tim, their two adult children and their dogs. She's often chasing a good live music gig, a great meal, or a nice glass of wine — and when she gets the chance, escaping somewhere quiet to soak up the serenity, the native birds and wildlife, and a scenic vista.
